Thirst for ambrosia
Luna m. Borne
You touched my wrist
while you were getting up
off the floor
while we were watching
a shitty movie, I don't think
I paid any attention
after that. I only could think of how much I wanted
to touch you, to stare at you,
to drink your beauty
like ambrosia made of
the fruit of Eden
blended to an unrecognizable pulp.
Touch me again, baby.
Make your love feel violating.
Touch my wrist
in the shower,
grab it and
press it against the wall.
Let your other hand wander,
let it grab what it wants to.
Let us lose ourselves and drown
in newfound desire.
For something intimate,
I have waited patiently,
sitting criss-cross-apple-sauce for you.
